Linn Selekt DSM – new and improved Classic Hub

To coincide with the launch of it’s new loudspeaker offering – 119 & 150 – Linn is introducing a new and upgraded Selekt DSM Classic Hub.
New Classik Hub is not just a facelift; it comes with both significant performance and features benefits too, whilst maintaining the fundamental principles of Selekt – cartridge-based modularity, versatility and upgradeability.
As we already know from Edition Hub, the Selekt chassis has an important bearing on sonic performance. New Classic features improved metalwork and chassis design, stainless steel feet and a greater mass than original Classic, all bringing it closer in sound quality terms to Edition Hub. The new chassis gives Selekt DSM Classic Hub a more luxurious overall look, enhanced by a new large-format display, steel smart buttons, UV- printed Linn logo and a layer of mirrored glass beneath the control dial, which gives a pretty cool glow to the LEDs within.
Feature-wise, additions include:
- Integrated headphone amp with 1/4” jack output
- RCA outputs for bass reinforcement from a subwoofer
- Available in silver finish for the first time
- AirPlay 2-compatible
- Added 24bit/384kHz and DSD256 compatibility
Selekt DSM fits any system. It’s modular design means it’s like a ‘build-your-own’ hi-fi: begin as source only, as a complete active entertainment hub for music, cinema, games consoles and surround sound, or one of a zillion options in between!
